Warrior Leveling Spec for Cataclysm
Have you been searching for a great Warrior leveling spec for WoW 4.3.4 going forward? If you have been, I’m sure you’re aware of just how many different opinions there are about which warrior leveling spec is the best. Well, truth be told there is no one best build, but some are better than others. What I have here, is simply one of the better and more efficient warrior leveling specs and It’s also the one I prefer and have used for leveling and a slight variant for a warrior pvp spec. I’ve already gone through the evidence and found one of the best ways to go about leveling a warrior and I’ll explain some of that here and show you where to get an even more complete guide.
Talent Builds for Leveling
Just a quick side note on leveling specs – the idea is to thrash all mobs ASAP, with as little amount of downtime as is possible. This means that your leveling spec won’t usually be the same as your level 80-85 PvP or Raid builds. In raid situations you will, as Fury warrior, focus far more on damage output and much less on a survivability build, since a healer will be keeping you healthy (hopefully
). If you are tanking, you will requires major damage reduction or evasion skills and the ability to keep aggro on the Boss so your party doesn’t get trounced. Leveling is somewhere in the middle of these builds.
At level 10 you will pick from one of the three specializations: Arms, Fury, and Protection. Once you choose a spec you are locked into that spec until you pick up 31 points worth of talents in that tree. You do not have to buy the top tier talent to open up the other trees. You only have to spend 31 points in that tree.
Note: If you choose to try a different tree after you get to your 31 point mark in your main tree, you will not get the mastery bonuses from the new/secondary tree. Just so you know…
Fury Leveling Build for Cataclysm
Fury is the dual weapon wielding piston of destruction. You’re a berserker with no fear of a gruesome death. Eventually you get Titan’s Grip and can weild a two-handed weapon in each hand (very nice indeed).
After choosing Fury you will get Bloodthirst as your level 10 ability. Bloodthirst is a nice little strike that heals you a bit. As you level up you will eventually also obtain:
- Dual Weild Specialization: Raises overall damage by 10% and Raises your off-hand damage by 25%
- Precision: elevates your chance to hit by 3%
- Mastery: Unshackled Fury - Some enraged/berserker abilities provide a benefit and Mastery increases that benefit by 25%. Additional Mastery Rating increases that percentage as well.

Haven’t seen enough yet? Here is the latest video with must see information about the upgrades made to the new WoW guides
Cruelty - provides you with a staple damage increaser. It also gives you the much needed critical strikes that become quite important at the later levels, greatly due to Flurry. It’s one of the best talents in this tree despite the fact that it in the very first tier. Also, that 10% critical is quite difficult to get at higher levels.
Flurry - rounds out the build’s damage capabilities with a large, consistent increase of damage useful in just about every battle. When you max out your furry, (3/3) and get your critical level higher. You will see just how cool flurry really is.
Thanks for checking out Warrior leveling spec! Hope this helps your leveling experience.

Hi there!
Kevin here, thanks for stopping by my site on warrior leveling. I live in the northern US and have been playing WOW for about 3+ years now. I have played many different classes in that time and have tried many different guides and specs for those classes. My warrior was actually my fifth character I built and still one of my most favorite characters to play (especially PVP). I hope you find the information here useful in your efforts to level up your warrior. If you wish to email me, click on the contact me tab.
Bloody and speedy leveling to you, fellow warrior!!!
